William Murchison
William Murchison is a senior columnist with the Dallas Morning News and has been syndicated since 1981. His work is presently distributed by Creators Syndicate.
A native of Corsicana, TX, Murchison received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas and his M.A. from Stanford University, with majors in U.S. and British history.
Murchison's columns have been published in many national journals including the Wall Street Journal, National Review, Human Events and The American Spectator. He spent 13 years on the staff of the Dallas Times Herald. He has been a contributor to the Conservative Chronicle since its inception in 1985.
The Texan is a trustee of the American Enterprise Forum and The Philadelphia Society. He also serves on the ecumenical advisory board of the Thomas More Institute.
Murchison and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of two sons.
